Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 23, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Norvella Cuisine website and the enquiries and reservation requests you make through it. Please read them carefully. By browsing the website or sending us an enquiry, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. Who We Are
The website is operated by:
E-mail: info@norvellacuisine.com
Telephone: +1 (418) 527-9364
In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the company named above, which operates the Norvella Cuisine restaurant. “You” refers to any person who visits the website or contacts us through it.
2. Definitions
- Website means all pages, text, images and features published under the Norvella Cuisine name at this address.
- Enquiry means any message you send us using an enquiry form, by e-mail or by telephone, including requests for reservations and private dining.
- Reservation means a table or private dining booking that we have expressly confirmed to you.
- Content means the text, photographs, graphics, logos, menus and other material on the website.
3. Acceptance and Capacity
By using the website you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a contract, or that you use the website under the supervision of a parent or guardian. If you send an enquiry on behalf of a company or a group, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
4. Use of the Website
You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes. In particular, you must not:
- send false, misleading or abusive enquiries, or enquiries in another person’s name without their permission;
- use the website or our contact details to send unsolicited advertising or bulk messages;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected system, or interfere with their operation;
- introduce viruses or other harmful code, or use automated tools to copy the website in a way that places an unreasonable load on it;
- use the Content in a way that infringes our rights or the rights of others.
5. Information on the Website
We take care to keep the information on the website accurate and up to date. However, our menu is seasonal and depends on the availability of ingredients from local producers, so dishes, descriptions, opening hours and prices may change without notice. Prices are shown in Canadian dollars and are indicative; applicable taxes (GST and QST) and any service conditions are confirmed at the restaurant. Photographs illustrate the atmosphere and style of our cuisine and may differ from the dishes served on a given day.
In the event of an obvious error in a price or description, we will inform you before you order, and the price displayed in the restaurant on the day of your visit applies.
6. Enquiries and Reservations
The enquiry forms on the website help you prepare an e-mail to us in your own e-mail application; the website does not take bookings automatically. Sending an enquiry or a reservation request does not by itself guarantee a table. A reservation exists only once our team has confirmed it to you by e-mail or by telephone.
- We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance for weekend dinner service.
- For groups of more than six guests and for private dining, our team will confirm the details, including any menu selection, deposit or minimum spend, in writing before the reservation is final.
- Please arrive on time. If you are delayed, let us know so that we can try to keep your table; we may release a table that remains unclaimed after a reasonable delay.
7. Changes and Cancellations
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice of any cancellation or change to your reservation. Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a modest fee per guest, but only where the amount and conditions were clearly communicated to you and accepted when the reservation was confirmed. For private events, the cancellation conditions set out in the written confirmation apply.
If we have to cancel or change a reservation because of circumstances beyond our control (see section 15), we will inform you as quickly as possible and refund any deposit you have paid.
8. Allergies and Dietary Requirements
Our kitchen gladly adapts dishes for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free preferences. Please tell us about any allergy or dietary requirement when you book and again when you order. Our kitchen handles common allergens such as nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, fish and shellfish; while we take great care to prevent cross-contact, we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free of trace allergens. If you have questions, our team will be happy to describe the ingredients of each dish.
9. Intellectual Property
The Norvella Cuisine name and logo, the design of the website and the Content are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws and belong to us or to our licensors. You may view the website and print or save pages for your personal, non-commercial use, for example to share our menu with your guests. Any other reproduction, adaptation, distribution or commercial use requires our prior written permission.

We use your messages only to answer you and to prepare your visit, as described in our Privacy Policy . We do not publish your messages.
11. Links to Other Websites
The website contains a link to an external map service to help you find the restaurant. External websites are not under our control; we are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices, and a link does not imply endorsement. Your use of those websites is subject to their own terms.
12. Availability of the Website
We aim to keep the website available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend, change or withdraw all or part of the website, for example for maintenance, security or updates, without notice and without liability.

Our liability for any direct loss related to the website is limited to the amount you have paid us, if any, in relation to the matter giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for our intentional or gross fault, for bodily or moral injury caused to others, or any right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act (Québec) and the Civil Code of Québec .
15. Circumstances Beyond Our Control
We are not responsible for any delay or failure to perform our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, power or network outages, public authority orders, supply shortages or other cases of superior force.
16. Privacy and Cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, and our Cookie Policy explains that this website does not use cookies. Both documents form part of these Terms.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our services or to the law. Before starting any proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so that we can try to find an amicable solution.
19. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and any written reservation confirmation, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the website.
